yeh this is for parents who are expecting students back home with results.

 

 receive me back,

just as usual..

open the door and plant a soft kiss on my cheek

offer me those nice smelling cookies of yours

 

dont send me back please,

try to understand 

let the door open, and i will walk in

with my results in my hand

 

i know i didnt hit that mark

you needed me to,

but that doesnt mean i wont hit it

the next time

 

i understand you are cross

not because you are pushy

but because you want the best for me

but just dont create a path for me

all i ask of you is

prepare me for any path.

i think that comes from parents care and worrying about their kids. if you were a mother and your kid is at school, you wouldnt do less than what your parents are doing right know..at the same time, i believe in individual differences, we shouldnt expect our kids to be as we want them to be..

i knw... and i understand bt some are not willing to let their kids make their own decisions and i appreciate all their concerns n all but sometimes they just need to let loose
