fear you?

this is one of my other political poems.. but not that political!!

oh right, so...

you think am scared

now do you?

 

because you get to

sit on the hightable

and decide my fate??

judge my life from the statistics

of the many??

 

based at your office,

you write down my rules and regulations

not knowing that they are made to be broken!

decide the course of my life

when you don't know how bitter it is..

 

pass them down..

i hear the hirearchy...

those below you...they might obey

but do you think i will??

 

ohh yeah,

obviously i will.

my spine will break,

my smile will fade..

my structure will under go defformation..

from all the starvation... because corruption

lies at the center of the hirearchy.

but my soul won't be scorched..

it will reatain it's fire..

 

it's the inner me that

will fight you and your lame rules.

MR president sir..!!

why dont you be the voice of the voiceless.

as you once promised whan getting elected?/

you turned out to be the very one who murfles our voices

with you cruel treaatment of those who speak of you evil.

but you wont burn or root us out!!

 

how long has it been sir??

25 year, and still ruling..

yet the consititution said 5 years at the start..

which was amenede to 10 years, after feeling the power.

what will it be next???

40 years??

MR president sir, all we are asking for is

fairness and rule by the consititution..

im sure you know im so much related to this as an Egyptian. we had a president who ruled for thirty years and was ready to rule for more since he is still living and if he dies, his son is there. such leaders have forgotten that countries are not just for them. it is for all the people of the country. i have really enjoyed reading this nice poem which i felt it goes through my own tongue. i have a similar poem anyway named( the Unseated President)
