Sightless CycleA Poem by Aura InannaThis is for the "Surreal As It Gets" writing contest. I found that contest and figured I might as well enter, since I felt like writing some anyway. ;) ~Aura
Heartbreaking argentine winds
fly across my vision and dapple it with stars. But what vision was there when all I could have seen was things I already saw? Trees blended with the colors of the ocean, for to float gently on the reflections of clouds in the water. And the clouds unstick themselves from the water and create cotton candy swirls splattering the lavender pavement. Those cotton candy swirls burn holes in the pavement through which silver foxes crawl with diamond black eyes trained on the sky. Their eyes shine on the azure sky into windows that see through to the abyss of space to create midnight clouds. Midnight clouds with which dances the silver winds of earlier blocking the vision to make the clouds white and also to make them reflect upon the water. Completing the cycle. © 2011 Aura InannaAuthor's Note
