OF A PECULIAR NATURE

OF A PECULIAR NATURE

A Poem by lua
"

i find myself within

"

for now

I am in a world

unfamiliar to myself

the night sky once

endless

a dark ominous absence

finds itself distorted

into an orchestrated

dance of green

and purple

a marble of marvel

a frisk of inescapable magic that dominates this

obscure landscape

a scope of

nature’s ability to soften the angular skyline of rock with

a whisper

a soft white hue gifted by winter who demands

frozen skies to fall upon frozen seas

that shimmer below the command

of the sun who rolls across

the sky

an ever-evolving spectrum of pastel

the ethereal colour reflected

in the faces of

the mountains smothered in

snow

glinting

nature’s hint

seizing my gaze in its

clutch of outrageous beauty

this is definitely a good "unfamiliar"---
in life some of the best surprises, the best shocks are when the unexpected happens...like with love...
we live in a certain state of normal skies, nothing out of the ordinary, then suddenly we see that person and a different light shines in our sky...and we are colored with love.

When this world doesn't make sense, it may often give us a shove in another direction. Sometimes bad, but in this case, sometimes, good. A child will lie on the grass on a summer night and stare up at the sky, seeing its wonders. He or she may not understand all they see, but that adds to the curiosity.

When adults look up, they may be even more curious, using telescopes. Space can captivate whether we are obsessed with it, or confused about life. Either way, you can't lose.

Good poem, Lua.

we are a curious bunch, thank you for reading :)
In what world shall we dance today? Perhaps the closing of the eyes and the high ten of the ears and skin. It is always amazing to wander off in a free open space with endless possibilities.
Very well written

that truly is an amazing situation to be in, thank you for reading :)
Sounds like a view of the aurora borealis. Beautiful word pictures in this one. Just read the words and let your imagination roll. Well done.
