THIRTY-NINE WINKS

THIRTY-NINE WINKS

A Poem by lua
"

thoughts after midnight

"

outside

when the world is asleep

a solitary glow of a light

dampened by the fog

a mist of

secret kisses and

                             unspoken thoughts

I think of you as the world sleeps

thank you :)
sweet little poem, makes me wonder about the title! if it's something that reminds you of the person you're thinking of.

thank you!!
This was very sweet with an old London charm to it. Initially reminded me of 39 steps but that was a spy story.

those unspoken thoughts can often lead to a lack of clarity on both sides of the street.
i get a London feel to this...
a quiet night...and the speaker walking the streets hoping to catch a glimpse of the lover by the soft streetlamp glow.
