WAITINGA Poem by lualife owes you nothingit becomes an occupation for those uncontent a salary earned from a lack of motivation to leave the canyon of self-pity with its sweet streaks that tickle every length of every nerve to convince a person they do not have enough slowly rotting a body from the inside-out an invisible vacuum stealing satisfaction but with nothing nothing to replace the gap that is left
and so they wait a sickly naivety that they are owed a debt belonging to life a fault of nature to deliver a commodity to serve as transport to a better place
a place that does not exist © 2017 luaFeatured Review
