THE MASTERPLAN

THE MASTERPLAN

A Poem by lua
"

but where do you fit in?

"

was I created for life

or

was life created for me

is it my right to pick the flowers

that blossom below me as

I climb the tree that stands as

still as my mind when my head tips back

the sky flooding into my eyes

the sun nestling deep in my heart whilst

the clouds collect in my brain

or is this just nature’s distraction

so I do not notice it is sculpting me

to fit perfectly into its

masterplan

I really like this poem. I read it out loud, and I must say it sounds alot better and gets more depth than when in writing, but that's just the type of poem it is, and I really like it.

Many thoughts enter my head when reading this... That's the kind of poetry I like the most, the kind that makes you think, makes you feel the curiosity of a child, makes you wonder.

Good job.

A fascinating question. How to I distinguish you from the flowers you pick? What magic! The liver vis-a-vis the very life she lives. Beautiful thought.

I believe we decide our journey.
"was I created for life
or
was life created for me"
I like the above question. We must decide. Follow the path of the sheep or walk a path unknown. Thank you Lua for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are welcome my friend.
This made me question everything that I've been standing for, what is the destiny behind it all. This thing we called life.

life is a funny thing
who am I?

Life is a funny thing, but could that just be an allusion for this masterplan?
hmmmmmm..... this is such a good coffee accompaniment Lua.
A chicken and egg conundrum that makes us look at things differently -
I got a 'spinny-head' as I looked into the sky with you - nicely done!

I really like this. Sort of tackles that question of fate. Do we control our own destiny, or is everything pre-destined...
