SEA THOUGHTS

and my own

a white noise that

holds every colour with

every breath,

a call that lures you

pulls you into its arms

and swallows you,

it listens

every moment of every day

it listens

each ripple,

each disruption, just a

reflection of the sky,

the universe

and every thought that cascades

over each rock and breaks

and breaks

and heals

each intrusion, each breath of salty air

awakens your lungs

every heave lifting you closer to flying, then

nestling deep in your heart

breathing new life into you

and you too become a reflection

a reflection of the sky,

the universe

and all at once you are a mere speck

throughout infinity

but infinity is a mere speck

existing inside of you

you are everything and you are nothing

I just love that contrast, it sums up the wonderful paradox of human experience. Once again your words have pulled me into a scene that I am grateful to have experienced.
