Question

A question that came to me today at lunch.

What power do I have?
My words have no weight,
My strength has no meaning,
And my brain gave no solution.

Consequence defeats my actions,
Forcing weakness upon me.
A future chaining my present,
and a past that brought the problem.

Fierce as I am I ask again,
What power do I have,
When all that I am
Cannot fight that which has come?
