So Much

You have so much to learn

New to this world and blind to its dangers

So small and helpless

Too fragile to let you free

I'll watch you grow and learn

As time goes by a year in a night

And when it's time for you to leave me

I only hope I've taught you right

But for now you have so much to learn

I can tell this is very emotional and heart-felt. It has a nice flow and very detailed lines. I especially like the line "As time goes by a year in a night" I just think it's a good way to tell time moving by quickly in a short amount of time. Amazing poem Love, keep it up!
