Although you may forget me

And you may pass me without a second glance

Somehow I know if you heard my voice

Your heart would ache with my memory

If you heard my name you'd see my face in your head

Though you may not know why

No matter what

You'll never really forget

The first heart you tore to shreds

Try to run and hide

But the memory of me will follow

It will keep you awake

Bring you pain and shame

All the while I'll have moved on

With not but a scar to show

Not a single true rememberance of the pain

It's really sad that some people just use others when they know someone is fragile. The best thing, always, is to move on and forget about the negativity. Great poem! Keep writing!

It's hard keeping it in mind, and you don't want to forget about them, and never will. The pain of knowing it is horrid, but you have to try your best to put that aside and remember what was good.
