Inevitable Darkness

Inevitable Darkness

A Poem by Lunar Lightning

I can't help but pity those around me

Living in shining fairy tales

They lay in bed with lies floating around their minds

Dreams of things they truely believe

When I know that they are wrong

For love just doesn't exist

I kow they will never reach hat perfect world

Except in their dreams

There are so man things that are impossible

So much they have to learn

Lessons that will darken their minds

An unfortunate inevitability

This poem reminds me of how I used to be, "Living in shining fairy tales". When you wake up to the world around you, it kills you on the inside. Things aren't what you thought they were...I loved it!
