Halloween

Halloween

A Poem by Lunar Lightning

Halloween is such a frightful night

For those who let it be

But then there is that little group

Made of kids like me

Who sit at home and roll their eyes

And think of how pathetic it is

To stroll the streets in costume

Pretending to be what you aren't

Who think about the darkness

And how nice and haunting it can be

Who really don't see what's so special

About the day called Halloween
