In BetweenA Poem by MaryIn Between A single silent moment, No movement Or sound, I sit in complete darkness. My eyes locked away My mouth sewn shut My hears stuffed with cotton, I know nothing I feel nothing I am nothing By breath gone, My heart stalled, I wait for death But it never comes, I am stuck In this state of madness Neither life nor death, But limbo I cannot move Or plead for help, Will somebody kill or save me? Where is the light in this darkness? © 2010 MaryAuthor's Note
