Blue Morning's Kiss

Blue Morning's Kiss

A Poem by Mary

Blue Morning’s Kiss

My eyes blur

In despair as I try to grasp

The sight of this enchanting escape

Their origin,

Unknown

What a thing to behold

The pale blue petals,

Fill the air

They are everywhere

They dance

They prance

They spin

They twirl

They are a beautiful mural,

I have never seen such a sight as this

Nor have I had true love’s first kiss

The morning air

Filling my lungs

As the floral sent consumes me

What a life I have led

All the things I haven’t said,

Twirling in this blue morning’s kiss.

Poem is beautiful. We can miss something as beautiful and peaceful as the birth of a new day for years. Your words made me want to watch the sun rise from the east this morning. A excellent poem. You can write. Thank you.
