To Live Again

To Live Again

A Poem by Mary

To live again

It’s what my heart

Truly wants

In this moment

Just to breathe after this life

Could my brilliant illusions

Become my reality

That is what I truly wonder

Will my eyes shine again in the moonlight?

After I’m gone

Don’t forget

The time we spent

Spinning in the night

My toes on cold concrete

The wind against my skin

The thoughts ever fleeting

A pleasure I am akin

Bravo, Bravo, you have done it once again, beautiful and talented author, Mary D'Agostine! This is a very sad, but emotional and perfect poem. And people say that I'm the best poet that they have ever seen! Seriously, you would make Edgar Allen Poe jealous! Nice Job!!!!!!!!!!

There is kind of an eerie sadness to this write. The one question that cannot be answered, what happens when we die? That is the haunting message you poem gives to me. I think this is an impressive write, very well done.
