just a poem i wrote with my feelings all mixed up...

You are double sided,

Never to nice

Never completely evil

You bring hope

And then take it

 

My heart heals

And breaks again,

It is the pattern of you

 

I haven’t decided what to do

About you yet,

I sit and fret

But I can’t let you go

 

You are my bitter sweet misery,

The painful snow.

And have me always

Second guessing what I know

But I refuse to completely let go,

 

Memories of time

Once happy fill the hole

Of my once beating heart.

 

So I hide

From you

And scary time

That wishes to show me

What I have left behind,

When I grew my own mind.

 

But my self discovery

Came at a bad time

You too had an epiphany

One grater than mine

 

You forgot all time

And became no longer mine

You fell in the crowd

And never worked your way out

 

How could you?

Did you know that you were leaving?

Me behind

Forever blind to the new you,

So now I regroup

Pick up strewn pieces

And begin again

Forever knowing the end.

 

And my question still unanswered

“How could you?”

wow Mary.... That was beautiful... very deep and powerful I could feel all the emotions at once and i just loved it... but grater should be greater and "Did you know that you were leaving? Me behind" doesnt work right so you should combine the two.. thats all. great job!!!
