Color

Color

A Poem by Mary
"

Just a poem i came up with, i hope you like it:)

"

The colored dreams haunt me

Every waking moment

They are there

Hung in the air

Like woven tapestry,

I can not escape

Their clenching beauty

It suffocates me,

The breath streams from my lungs

I am no longer

The mundane

Or of the living.

I am one with color

No longer just one

I am many

I am a blur

And a clear picture

I am beauty

I am everything,

And nothing

I am what lurks in the shadows of the night

The unknown

I give all a fright

Know one can know true color.

Intriguing and mysterious, becoming one with color, sounds painful yet glorious at the end. Your words create a fantastic picture in my head, very nice indeed. Like your poem a lot.
