Silly little songs in my head

Will you have some portage and bread?

My thoughts expand and my thoughts go low

What do I truly know?

Do you come in the night,

To give us all a chilling fright

Silly little songs in my head

Am I really dead?

I really liked this, although it kind of seems like I've heard it before. Not saying you didn't come up with it, but when I was reading it in my head, it seemed familiar. But still, good job!
