Oh baby, can you tell?

Oh baby, can you tell?

I don't know if he knows but I sure do.

Baby can you tell?
Can you tell if my brain is damaged from the countless attempts to escape the world in which I met you? Or what about my personality that lost its luster?
Can you tell if it's from the poisions dancing in my blood or if it's from the lack of your soul that i crave every day, because honestly, I really can't distinguish.
But did you happen to see if the world could notice?
My smile drifting away with the autumn leaves; was it too obvious to the passerby?
Or did you happen to catch a glimpse of my expression as you tore my happiness from my oh so willing hands. I mean at least did you see them all shredded and bloody? I know everyone else did.
After you took all that I had left, just stood there; convincing myself that each step you took away from that valley was going to be manageable one day. I had no clue that the pain you caused me would never fade the slightest over time and I wish you knew that.
But just how did you not notice that?
It must've made a sound when I collapsed from the pain of your absence and shattered into a million pieces. Or how that wall of mine, built with bricks made entirely out of my sanity; came crashing down around your feet. How could you've of missed that?
You keep saying you love me, but oh baby if you really did you would be able to tell. You would notice that the girl you left in the valley in late October is only a pile of bones and a hollow soul now.
So I guess i'll just have to tell you while you're listening babe, so I'll be sure that you finally get it:
My memories are fuzzy now and I'm really sorry I can't picture your face anymore but I just really need to let you know I will never forgive you for creating that monster in my heart that will keep me bleeding till the day I die.
I'll also make sure you really get to see each vein that runs through every inch of my body that will infinitly carry the worst poison that planet earth would ever create.
But before you stop listening babe, I want you to try and guess what the name of that oh so nasty poison is.
And don't act like you don't know, because yes, I saw you holding that needle.
And that vile baby, that vile was labeled love.
