Water Fall

familiar the signs, reaching for the answer
patience found me hopelessly searching
on the edge of a waterfall
contemplating diving in and going for a ride
she asked me to take a moment and ask myself
what I truly wanted
my answer, clearly not what my heart whispered
destiny stepped in and set me a beautiful angel
I gave in for a moment of peace and then
i stood back up looking over the edge of my
emotions
