World-City: A grand and globalized nation

World-City: A grand and globalized nation

A Poem by Angel

And in my eyes full of surprise,

This world I know has globalized.

This means as much to you as s**t,

And in your eyes: our world unfit.

I can’t deny that for us all,

A peaceful world is a world so small.

I know my neighbor, and he knows me,

Though this neighbor of mine is in another country.

We are the cold, the dry, the hot, and the wet,

Yet to each of us, each all are a threat.

What kind of small and globalized world,

That fights its brothers and sisters as well.

And if we are this one grand world-city,

Why is it that upon our own we grant no pity?

With our supposed united world-city we fight,

And for the sake of chauvinism we affirm our might.

This world-city will not work if we aim to battle,

Let us all make peace with pacifier and rattle.

Your words are true in this poem. Can create a new world with old hate. Need to gather together for the sake of the children. Allow forgiveness to overcome for the new world where all people are safe and have a fair chance. Thank you for the excellent poem. The poor and the middle class can bend. The wealthy will hold their greed to their last breath.
