If Niall wants to keep her, she must be good.

A Chapter by Sophie

Four

Louis

After my shower I wrap the towel around my waist and follow the smell of food. Ali stands at the stove, and empty carton of eggs next to it, and Niall on the other side of the counter, eating them as fast as she can make them.

“Louis, can we keep her?” He begs, “She makes the best scrambled eggs!”

“Oh, so my eggs aren't good enough for you?” Harry grumbles from the couch, watching the news in nothing but a blanket.

“Really Haz? You got naked now? Are you trying to scare her?” I ask incredulously.

“Harry! We need her! Stop that!” Niall scolds, perfectly serious. Ali laughs and puts some eggs on a plate and sliding it to me, taking a not-so-secret glance at me bare torso.

“Clothes are annoying!” Harry whines. “S'not natural, gotta let my man parts breathe, ya know?”

“Ugh, not a good image.” Liam says, making a face.

“You know you like it!” Harry says, smiling cheekily. “Oh hey! Als! You're on the news!” He adds, pointing excitedly to the screen. Als? What did I miss, I was only in the shower for a half an hour!

“Really?” She says, cracking another two eggs in the pan and going to see. Niall is right, this is amazing.

“Oh my god! Lou, you're on the news too!” She says, we all look at her. “Right, celebrities, forgot.” She watches intently.

“Ali certainly made an impression on the fans.” A reporter announces, “Here are some fans outside their hotels feelings...”

It cuts to screaming girls, “I would love to be in Ali's place, she's my new idol! I want to be just like her, then maybe someone else from the band will like me!” One says.

“But you wouldn't want Louis Tomlinson?” The reporter asks.

“No! They're sooooo cute! I wouldn't want to break them up!” She says. Ali smiles.

“This is cool and all, but the eggs are burning.” Niall says, gesturing to the pan. Ali laughs and runs over to serve them to Niall and I. I have to say, it's a weird thing to see. A girl in a fancy, poofy dress all wrinkled, the bobby pins in her hair falling out, barefoot, and such curly, adorable bed-head cooking breakfast at 4:00 in the after noon, but it's nice.

“I don't know what to do anymore, now that the tour is over...” Zayn says.

“I'm gonna stay here a while, maybe get a flat.” I say. “I like it in Massachusetts.”

“No, you like Ali.” Niall teases.

“Well, yeah, I like Ali.” She turns and smiles, and I wink.

“Just think: Aleeya Tomlinson...” Harry gestures with both hands in a wide arc, “Yeah, I like it.” I have given you my blessing, you can keep her.” Harry says. “Oh! Boo Bear! I can move in your flat with you, like old times!”

“Oooorrrr....” I say, drawing out the word, “So I don't have to know exactly what sounds every girl you take home makes, why don;t you get your own flat?” I suggest.

“Hey, I'm sure I make them make more sounds than you do. Als, if you ever make sounds, tell me, 'cause I don't believe it.” I clap and laugh.

“New subject!” Ali calls out, laughing too. “Sorry guys, we're out eggs.” She says as Niall sadly puts his plate in the dishwasher. I do the same.

“I'm gonna go get dressed.” I say, going into the master bedroom to change, humming More Than This, because it's stuck in my head. I pull on some clothes and sit on the couch next to Ali, who is watching another news special on us. I rest my arms behind her.

“How on Earth is your hair so curly, it's amazing!” I say in awe, pulling one and watching it spring back. My hair now sticks out in all directions because its wet and not combed, only toweled.

“Thanks,” she laughs, “i was born with straight hair, like Harry.” She says, Harry looks at her weird. “Crap, sorry.”

“She's a major Directioner, “I explain, “posters plaster the walls in her room.” I tease.

“Oh? And what were you doing in her room, Louis?” Liam laughs.

“Nothing you need to know about.” Ali quickly says.

“Really though, nothing.” I add, because I thought I heard a few girls outside start crying again.

“Louis! I just remembered, there's two apartments vacant in my building, you and Harry could move in there!” Ali says suddenly.

“Perfect!” I say.

I drive Ali home in my car, Harry in his car behind us, our things already packed up. When we get into the lobby of her flat building, Harry and I immediately buy the flats, and carry up out luggage. I have to say, the man who sold them to us was very surprised at out quick buy.

I drop Ali off at her door with a quick, or... maybe not so quick, kiss.

“Ugh. PDA.” Harry mutters, walking up the stairs.

“See you later.” I say, and walk into the door across the hall.

I've never read anything quite like this, I guess that's what's making me so interested. Nice job, can't really predict too much but I'm sure you have it all mapped out

This story is strangely addicting. I keep pausing in my writing to read these chapters.
