The Never Ending Rain

Mother Nature will eventually get angry.

She'll stop being kind.

She'll take us out of this world,

ruined by the human mind.

Eventually, this Earth will come to an end

smashed down by human hand,

and I hope, my friend,

you won't be here to see the world's

bloody death.

She's punctured,

she's been bled out,

and yet she loves us,

Given us what we need to sprout.

She's been gouged

and scarred forever,

just because the creatures she nurtured

can be comfortable whenever.

Eventually she'll realize

humanity isn't worth the pain

and she'll cloud the skies,

and start never ending rain.

You might have been going for this difference for emphasis, but I think having the poem in ABCB except for stanza 2 (ABishAC?) throws off the flow of the piece. Other than the slight interruption in flow, it is nicely written. Mother nature is truly not cared for in the way deserved after providing us with so much... few mothers ever are. Anyway, very good idea/topic to write about and I really liked the piece overall.

Could be rain. Could be hurricanes. Could be new sicknesses caused by man messing with nature. Today most of the water is polluted. Air is hard to breath in many places. The tree and the needed rain forest is being cut down. Poor Mother Nature is watching us do slow suicide. I did like the concept of rain. I hope for the children of this earth. We gain wisdom and protect Mother Earth. Thank you for the excellent poem. You made me think.

Novel time?? Nahh...no need for it this time, the poem is enough as it is.
Anyway, I like the topic as it is something that we can all relate to on the encounters that we refer to as our daily lives. The way you described it was great and it just reminded me of how gifted you are.
"the world's bloody death" was a great point, and next to the last stanza, it was one of the best parts of the poem.
