The Caged BirdA Poem by SophieYes, I know this is already a poem, but I've made my own version"Why does the caged bird sing?"
The bird sings sitting in it's cage made of a material, unnatural unable to fly, prohibiting access to the sky He sings a song of hope and of love for his brethren free, far above The bars of the cage hold his body in but his soul, deep within soars in an imaginary sky unsure of exactly why he sings controlled by the bars but he sings of hope © 2012 SophieAuthor's Note
