The WitchA Poem by SophieThe grey words curl
from her pouty, red mouth they spread like smoke secrets beginning to unfurl Secrets she shouldn't know those that aren't hers her red nails tap on the wood and flames begin to eat away as more words come to life They dance around on wicked toes telling everyone of someone's woes Teeth flash as they smile into the ears making everyone hear their newly spoken secrets and fears Then they fade but more spew forth She pauses for a moment in her tirade of truth to let it sink in she takes a sip of her drink Her eyes flash red She has been poisoned The witch, The sorceress Shall be dead in a minute with her last, ragged breath he last words billow "Secrets, secrets are no fun unless they're told to everyone." And with that, she turns to dust. © 2012 SophieAuthor's Note
