Let's Play

Let's Play

A Poem by Sophie
"

not what it started out as... O.o

"

Give me a solution

give me time

what's the problem?

I've done no crime.

No time for riddles,

to time for games, you say

then why are you avoiding my eyes?

I beg to differ,

but I wonder what it is you play.

Locked in this padded room

no guilt in my gut

it's you who should be guilty

for not heeding the words of your 's**t'

My problem is with you,

you and your fist,

I don't know if you understood my gun,

but I think you got the gist.

Sometime abuse end up with no-one winning. Best to escape then become part of the problem. A sad poem. Hate and revenge allowed no-one to win. A powerful poem for thoughts. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

Ooooh feeling the sting.
Great way to end it; makes the reader assume the end result.
Awesome write.
