What Does it Mean?

What does it mean to be shattered?

Do you have to be torn in half by your own friends?

Do you have to be forever scarred by your ‘family’?

Or even thrown aside by the people you once looked up to?

 

What does it mean to be scared?

Do you have to be shaking in the corner?

Do you have to be bleeding from wounds?

Or even crying for someone to save you?

 

What does it mean to be sorry?

Do you have to be sobbing by yourself in the bathroom?

Do you have to let yourself be hurt greatly?

Or even give up everything you needed?

 

What does it mean to be alone?

Do you have to run away from everyone you know?

Do you have to lean toward the crowd you despised?

Or even tell yourself you’re no good?
