Yesterday's Makeup Looks Good On You

Yesterday's Makeup Looks Good On You

A Poem by LuLu S.
"

started the chorus over a year ago and it all came together today :)

"
This heartbreak’s so heavy
Like an anchor to my chest,
It’s weighing me down.
If I were to fall into these tears
I would surely drown.
And scientifically speaking
My heart’s no longer beating
You ripped it out
I’m not longer breathing
I’m chemically being
You cut me out
Your memory haunts me
Stealing the color from my veins
It never leaves me alone
And every beat my heart takes
Stings with the pain of yesterday
Making it harder to breathe.
And scientifically speaking
My heart’s no longer beating
You ripped it out
I’m not longer breathing
I’m chemically being
You cut me out
This agony binds me to these chains
And I can’t seem to break away.
These scars refuse to heal.
Can’t you see that I’m bleeding for you
And I can’t find the words to explain…
