The Sixth Of December

The Sixth Of December

A Poem by LuLu S.

And when you left
You knocked me off my feet
Now there's a hole in my chest
And I can't seem to breathe.
Do you remember?
It was the sixth of December
The night I gave myself to you.
Now my days are faded
So dull and gray
My nights are lonely
I feel they'll never go away
Try as I might I cant pick up the pieces
Because you never gave them back to me
You hold me so tight..
I took a blow to the chest
And now there's a hole where my heart should be
I'm stumbling
But I can't seem to find my breath.
And I remember
I remember the sixth of December.
Remember, oh remember
my dear, the sixth of December
Remember, remember
Those little promises I made
For it was the day I gave my heart to you.
remember, please remember
That this will never fade
And no matter what you do,
I will forever be in love with you.
