Puppy Love

This is what happens when you write a poem instead of listening to your world history teacher. Oh, & the title of this poem doesn't like- it really is about a dog. Hope you get a chuckle out of it!

My puppy-

There is something

Wrong with that dog.

She sits in her doghouse

Despite the eerie fog.

I think I know the problem;

Look at the eyeliner she’s wearing!

She must’ve turned emo

When her boyfriend stopped caring.

Her ears flop down-

They’re sad too.

Dogs are color blind

Yet her whole world is blue.

She painted her paws black

so I took her to the vet.

They gave her depression pills

But the puppy continued to fret.

I confiscated her hair dye

and her cutting knife

Cause that emo dog

Tried to take her own life!

But then the sun came out-

A great dane strutted down the way.

Their eyes met- oh, puppy love!

And the emo went away.
