A Poem For CesarA Poem by Luke Gilliam
The joker's in the alley,
Tying his laces, He's up in the altitudes, And off to the races, Just came from the bar, Where he served up some Aces, Had a drink with the Queen, And followed his paces. The Queen started blushing, And stood on her toes, When along came the Jack, And handed her a rose, Polished off ten cold ones, And recited her some prose, So if I trip in the hallway, Or begin to bleed or doze, Just put me in the cab and say cabby, Take the b*****d to the place, Where the alcohol flows. © 2015 Luke Gilliam |
