Early in the Morning

Out of everything I've written this is my favorite piece. I wrote this at a time in my life in which I was extremely happy with my love partner. This is dedicated entirely to her. Thanks for reading!

Early in the morning,

I want to wake up,

to live, to smile, laugh,

and to love deeply.

Go out just before sunset,

a soft breeze touching my skin,

us, laying down on the grass,

looking at how the sun hides slowly but beautifully.

Night is approaching,

the moon shines in the sky,

providing a celestial light,

and together with it, the stars,

staring at us from a distance,

you next to me,

your hand holding mine tightly,

my lips meet yours,

the innocence of our bodies,

melting together intimately.

Nature’s music touches the scene with it’s glory,

us, living in a moment of eternity.

Early in the morning,

we wake up,

living, smiling, laughing

and loving deeply.

Ready to go back to our lives,

but this time surrounded by the magic of that night.

A blank page approaches,

waiting to be filled with a story,

our story.
