Too Many Scars

Too Many Scars

A Poem by Lucy
"

Who gives a s**t if it flows.

"
Too many scars cover my body
Some not visible to the naked eye.
Too many scars cover my soul
Some no one will ever know.
Too many scars fill my life
I hide them by being reckless
I cover them up
With sex alcohol and music
I wish I didn't have to
Hide anymore
But what's the use of others
Knowing my pain
When they don't even care.
You say it's good to share,
But is it?
I think not.
All it does is cause more internal pain
from those that don't give a s**t.
From those that get pleasure
from others pain.
From watching people die inside.
Slowly we die inside
from the disease that consumes us.
That disease is hatred.
Hatred from others
But mostly hatred for ourselves

This is beautiful. It's painful in a way that I can relate too. You're a beautiful writer, keep doing what you're doing.
