Perpetual Virgin Mother

Perpetual Virgin Mother

A Poem by Maria Morisot

Look to the light!
Her echoes
of spark,
traversing
the sky above the sea.

Look to Mary!
Her
virginity is
perpetual,
and her graces
pour out upon poor
sinners!

She is the light,
in the darkness,
leading souls
to her Son;

And when we’re
freed from sin,
how much
we adore her.

Praises be to the glory of Our Lady;

That night not descend again,
by her
divine protections.
