Remember Me

Remember Me

A Poem by Lubaina Dahodwala

I
Remember me like the sun remembers to rise every morning.
Remember me like the wind remembers to blow everyday.
Remember me like the water remembers to flow in its current.
Remember me like a saint remembers to bow down to his God.
Remember me like a mother remembers to love her kids.
Remember me like the dusk remembers to follow the dawn.

II
Remember me like I have remembered to love you every single day.
Remember me like I remembered to smile everytime I see your face.
Remember me like I remember to dream about you.
Remember me like I remember our first kiss.
Remember me like I remember the warmth of your body.
Remember me like I remember to fall in love with you all over again every time I think about you.
Remember me like I will remember you for the rest of my life.

III
Remember me like you remember to breathe every second.
Remember me like you remember to wear your lens every time you go to party.
Remember me like you remember to laugh even on my stupidest jokes.
Remember me like you remember to dance even when there's no music.
Remember me like your eyes remember to sparkle everytime you are tipsy.
Remember me like you will never forget me.

I agree with what has been said, easy to read and understand. I'm sure I'll remember.

A poem of undying love - this is easy to read and is to the point.
I like that you personalise nature in the first paragraph - like the sun remembering to rise in the morning.

Lovely - the first paragraph is a personification of nature, except for lines 4 and 5 of course.
A poem of undying love
