Can You Move Yet?

Can You Move Yet?

A Poem by luciddreamer
"

Thank you Tony for all your help with this one......

"

My body and my mind

naturally awakes on chime

at 3 a.m., I must be lonely

as I hear matchbox 20 sing along

Dreams in black and white

Armageddon reaches left and right

as I hear Johnny singing

I hear the train a coming

Maybe a Polar Express

or might just be

as Ozzy says

A Crazy Train

While Paul screams

Let it Be

And Lennon sings

Imagine

I do, adjust, re-align

The matrix is just another place

that aliens as well as robots make

difference is during the quake

There is no Mr. World to save thee

We refuse to hear Himm or Socrates

Listening instead to the insanity

the pre-programmed marvel in our heads

flush it down, start again

You're welcome, I reckon,
and..
Great Poem!
In a matter of a few lines,
You have given us a picture,
from your life, through your view.
which is why we talk, us humans right? it's called 'communication'??
Right.
But isn't it great when we can be entertained by someone else's articulations?

Some people know how to match the words to the color and texture of Life better.
And that is why they call us Poets and offer us more booze.

I was waiting for a luciddreamer original.
This is like crack mixed with battery acid. Enough to keep me going and full of venom to douse my enemies.
There is a soundtrack to our lives that becomes painfully evident as we switch our gears to what we hear.
Today it was a mixture of Merengue and At the Gates, but the blend was intense.

Great concept
