Top Of The Boulder

Top Of The Boulder

A Poem by luciddreamer

I wish sometimes for truth

but mainly now for peace

which cannot be found in a lie

As I listen to the cricket

I can no longer remember my dreams

what the hell is that suppose to mean

the portal has changed,

I now must hear your

point of view

Alice, where is your looking glass?

Don't tell me you've found the way

and all I have to do is pray

Believe me I will run at what you say

God bless the seeker?

Listen, Listen, is the music in my head

the message, the message, is all that is being said

I'm rumbling , I'm roaring, I no longer choose to loose

Lookie here, lookie here, I'm the girl with no shoes

Watching aloop, de ja vu, the same ole s**t different day routine

work, bills, worry, a little love, a lot of crap and tv

Wanting off this ride, sometimes feels like an imposibility

Free falling is on her mind, as she falls asleep

Go ahead and cry baby if you want to

here,  shoot a bird at anyone who says not to

feel your rage, express yourself, be an artist

don't stay in that cage that was assigned to you

Fly away Fly away

Away from the land of the dead

Beautiful Painful Illuminating Empowering Poetry.
From the top of a boulder?
So much the better!
You may be listening to that madman Tony too much.....lol...
However;
"Lookie here, lookie here, I'm the girl with no shoes'.....
Great Work, Robin.

perfectly understood~ I didn't find my song until later in life~ but when I did~ the world of the living opened wide and resplendent~and nothing was impossible~
