Wonderland Girl

Wonderland Girl

A Chapter by luciddreamer
"

Ah...spending weekends with my grandparents

"

My grandpa said,

as well as Ben Franklin,

Early to bed, Early to rise

Grandpa was pretty wise

But 5 a.m came pretty quick

to brown eye girls, who knew the trick

through their nightly tock, tick

of alternative bricks

Yet, usually after the first inward groan,

the covers she would throw

 as summoning up her clone

the one who never has shone

and as she sits in her familiar weekend throne

She smells a peaceful known

The eggs fried just perfect for him and I

Saw Mill Gravy,  biscuits so perfect they let out a sigh

Peaches or Pears, its up for you to decide

Crispy bacon or sausage if you like

Can't help but bring on a smile

to a Wonderland  Girl
