As A New Chapter Begins

As A New Chapter Begins

A Poem by luciddreamer

As a new chapter begins

She somewhere forgot the Goddess she once way

Getting wrapped up in what everyone else is doing in their lifes

sometimes feeling tied down by the weight of the world, her world,

that was made by  insecurities after tragedys

thoughts, now starting to change

 cocoon starting to splinter away

 heart once again opens

this time a bit wiser than those days

Consciously dreaming, pretending if you will

what life can be, yet remembering the pain

as the forever it is, this teacher of life, till

eventually

unknown sensations within-- starts wings to spread

seeing a glimpse of the Goddess that once were

Believing that she'll come to life, once more

As a new chapter begins

Daydreaming my life away, pretending that none of this social order is of the least importance, and no longer wasting time trying to 'get a life', has allowed me to know this unknown sensation within. And to regain the 'inner child' if you will, that I was sure was lost upon comprehending the significance of 7% growth, and how little growth had been made by my species.

I think it is called Liberty, this sensation, but it actually feels much nicer than that.
Good poetry with positive reinforcement.

within the every day hustle of life we build a layer of shells over the illuminated goddess core~ but in moments of utter stilness we glimpse the beam of light that will eventually bring us back to our luminous core~
beautiful and thoughtful poem~
