I'm the strange one

I'm the strange one

A Poem by luciddreamer

I have seen so many daughters just thrown away

Some as young as thirteen making their own way

HOw, how as a parent do you justify?

Not knowing where your kid is for hours at a time

Everyone is looking for something to blame

Some say it's alcohol

some say drugs

others say sex

But its none of the above

It's your ignorance about what's really happening with your baby

I can't imagine being so beat by the world

That my children are no longer on my radar

Maybe I'm over obsessive, some say it's true

Lord knows I didn't protect my kids a time or two

But when I saw them getting hurt

An Enity took over that didn't shirk

But I'm the mad one, the crazy one, the strange one

THANK GOD I SAY

Please let me be till my dying day..........

It is an awesome Verguenza, the condition of our collective children. And who has a justifiable excuse? Nobody.
In our 'insanity' we envision a world where there are no more frightened hungry children. And in our honest reflections, we are astonished.
And by thought we create.
Where are our thoughts leading us?
This is a very provocative poem, Robin.
Your Spirit is a grand one.

Hello Luciddreamer,

You make an excellent point. How can we blame the kids for doing something we didn't explain properly. It isn't there fault they go in with blind eyes when we didn't open their eyes to what it is.

Excellently written.

Regards,

Matthew
