The Reason I Write

I'm trying to find the human connection in everyone....I think....

Do as I say not as I do

I never agreed with; until

I realized that I was only

what everyone else is,

human,

prone to mistakes

for that is how we learn

no matter which way we choose

to react to the matter

we will still learn

maybe not what others

expect us to

but we still,  without a doubt, learn

So I have learned to listen much,

speak rarely,

For no matter what I say

Or how I say it; the meaning is lost

If I allow my voice to be to large

It will get lost in the screams of others

And If I whisper

It will get lost in the wind

Therefore, I write.......
