The Wind

The Wind

A Poem by luciddreamer

The wind called my name,

although I had never heard it before

The trees which shook

told me tales, ones I had never known

The fire inside of me said get up,

and so I did.

And here I am,

re-reading history through a different light

Feeling madness

through a different skin

Almost remembering

where I've been

. wow, a beautifully mesmerizing song ... as captivating as it is bewitching ... it hums as it haunts ... "feeling madness through a different skin" is sheer genius ... this is exquisite poetry ...

I like the ambiguous imagery in this.. it certainly promotes thinking and reflection. By the way.. I love the username: luciddreamer. I am obsessed with lucid dreaming.
