Releasing Fears

Releasing Fears

A Poem by luciddreamer

heavenly sleep out of reach

mind is playing out loud

thoughts of yesterday

pleasures of now

hopes of tomorrow

twisting,  bending, performing

a bittersweet play

on a well worn stage

waiting for the Gods applause

This describes exactly what goes on in my mind, always thinking, always thinking, always thinking. And those thoughts are always what you mention in your writing. I think this is outstanding.

The mentality portrayed here is exactly the kind of illusion that I am constantly referring to, Robin.

wow, you amazed me, i like it so very much. i like the whole, but the last line
waiting for the God's applause
is the best.
and the flaw: we say God's applause i think.
