This poem is about a bad break up

my heart is cold like winter night in New York
I am broken and blue beat by the ghost of you
tears are dry live Nevada desert
Still I’m haunted by the ghost of you

After you left me an year ago
It’s like you are still here
I’m haunted by the ghost of you
Over and over I’m left with fear

The walls are painted red and blue
Just like how you left the walls that became my living room
I’m haunted by the ghost of you

Darling darling did you really leave or are you still here
I tell myself over and over you are gone still I’m left with fear
Knowing you didn’t leave me alone
Was it choice for you to leave or was it fate

Darling did you really leave me blue
Or wasn’t the ghost of you

I am blue and beaten but the hatful memories
Still I tried believe me i had tried hard to forget you
Still I’m haunted but the ghost of you
Places i go is like you are still here your name still spoken
Your smell still lingers
There are times i can still see you

I’m haunted by the ghost of you
Hateful memories are still my living room
And walls are still painted red and blue
