Thank you for letting me go

This poem is about a relationship that end on a bad seed

You left without a goodbye
As i lay broken i realize that
I could live on my own
I didn’t need you
My life became mines again

My strength came from the gods
And i was home again
Through this pain I found peace
Through this I could love again

And this I found me
I could breath again love who i am
I knew my beauty
And knew you was nothing
Then a chin that drag me down

In this i thank you for letting me go
But i have taken all that i learn
Through this i learn to live for me
I became free like birds
And strong like the trees

I am me and beauty of life is mine to keep
In this i thank you for letting me go
