Father you came to save meA Poem by Raven moonHere a beautiful poem about pagan godsI am dead and broken I chose to lay in coffin of my own words Gaven up on this battle I cry once last time As grave taker dig my grave The headstone has my name on it And knew i was to died But still this body held life the feeling to want to died hang over our head As i lay half dead in the coffin a raven came to bid me farewell Then as grave taker began to close my coffin A man with one eye missing , his armor, that sword It’s like I’ve seen him before I ask myself could that be father Odin He look down at me and reach his hand And pulled me up from the coffin With the words he said live for me In tears that came from my eyes I nod and said in great sorrow I cannot live this pain is to much for me to bear For fate is for me to died my heart is broken there are nothing to live for He look into my eyes and in words he spoke you are strong then you think may my son Thor give you the strength And In this i ask of you live for me His hand gently bush away my tears as his hand held mine Then I felt alive once again as he walk off in fog and i run after him Lost in fog i could not see him anymore But just a raven that’s sits on tree I knew who he was in that i live for him My father the god of all gods Odin Odin Odin... He came to save me form death itself © 2019 Raven moon |
