this poem is about the battle of depression and how we cant see what others see us

say pray for me tonight

light a candle tonight

do you remember the feeling of happiness

where do you see yourself from here and tomorrow

if only you see yourself the way I see you then just maybe

you put down that blade tonight and love yourself more

how can you lock your self away from the beauty of the world   

I know the pain that you live in I know what you cant see but others do

light the candle in my name

say a little pray for me

as I try to put the pills down tonight

if only you could see the beauty of life

and  just like rose we live to tell the story of the broken glass

and just like the stars in sky we shine in the darkest of time

say a pray for me

as for tomorrow is other battle awaits
