tell me how

this poem is written to my own child that ask me let him go

Tell me how can I let you ?

Tell me how can I say goodbye

when you was all I needed to hold on to the title of mother

tell me how did you want me to fix the pass I have done

tell me what im suppose do without you in my life

you all that I have

you became my light in a dark world

you are my only reason im still here

now what im I suppose do without you here

tell me how do you want me to let you go

so can let you go in a world that brought me so much sadness

Sadly our children grow up and wish to spread their wings. It is hard on us when it happens, but it is the way. We do not own them, so must allow them their space. Hopefully they will return and visit and keep in touch often. Sadness in your lines which I can relate to.
