Embrace Me

Embrace Me

A Poem by nostalgicwriter
"

Too often there are judgments placed on people, places and things in every day life. Give others a chance - they may surprise you and even change your perception on how you view things.

"

Don’t judge me because I am different

Embrace me for reasons the same

They say don’t judge a book by its cover

The true meaning lies within the page

The truth might hold something in common

With a stranger whom you've yet to name

All born once tiny and equal

We’ve grown into our own shape

The size of a heart can’t be measured

By a glance, a look or a stare

And the love it can give will be priceless

Open up to it, should you dare

Let your eyes see nothing, hear voices

Let your ears hear no accent, see words

Let your mind hold no judgement, embrace me

And to you I will do the same
